"This Far Down the Road" addresses the pain of a challenging childhood. As an Adult child of an Alcoholic myself, this is very much a biographic song for me.
My hopes and prayers are that the Lord will use it to comfort and spur others on the path to healing. True healing can only come through our God. I've learned this myself. I still have a ways to go, but I'm better than what I was: all thanks to Him!
