After the October 7 massacre, we prayed and prayed for the deliverance of the hostages During their captivity, the Lord laid Psalm 40 on my heart. I've finally finished the song today. This song is dedicated to the survivors and their familes. My prayer is for healing and restoration of all involved. True victory over the enemy.
For those who never made it home, my heart cries for them and their families.
May God's Kingdom come. And soon.

א. לַמְנַצֵּחַ לְדָוִד מִזְמוֹר:

(Verse 1. To the chief Musician, Of David, A Poem set to Music)
קַוֹּה קִוִּיתִי יְהוָה וַיֵּט אֵלַי וַיִּשְׁמַע שַׁוְעָתִ
Ka-vo ki-vi’-ti ADONAI; va-yet e-lai’ va-yish-ma shav-ati
(I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry)
וַיַּעֲלֵנִי מִבּוֹר שָׁאוֹן מִטִּיט הַיָּוֵן וַיָּקֶם עַל-סֶלַע רַגְלָי כּוֹנֵן אֲשֻׁרָי
