A while back, Mary, someone who liked my songs, suggested I facilitate a songwriting course.
After praying about it, and seeing the need, I started moving forward. I was shooting for November 2022, but I felt led to write my own curriculum so that I could present ideas from a Biblical viewpoint, and not have to rely so much on a secular workbook. That being said, I won’t be ready by this November. Our focus will be worship songs and songs that address everyday life issues from a Biblical perspective. As always, it’s the Lord who gifts us with our abilities. All glory to Him, yes? He’s creative, let’s us be creative, too 😊
YOU’LL GET TOOLS TO ENHANCE YOUR SKILLS AS A SONG COMMUNICATOR:
We’ll dig into:
· Lyric writing, song forms, structures, poetic devices, rhythm, rhyme, & much more
· We’ll check out songs in the Bible
· and discuss the Tabernacle “Protocol of the King” worship structure
· Peer review on your lyrics/songs

Lord willing, I’m hoping for Dec 2022 or Jan 2023, possibly Monday nights from 6-8pm EST via Zoom meetings. Please give me feedback on the day/time as at this point, I am flexible as to what week night, except Fridays. I’ll choose whatever night works best for the majority. Sundays from 3-5pm is also a possibility for this semester. It looks to be a 5-week course.
